Arthur W. Page Society Elects New President and Trustees at Annual Conference

At the annual business meeting held today the 24th Annual Conference of the Arthur W. Page Society, the Nominating Committee announced that the Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to elect Maril Gagen MacDonald, CEO of Gagen MacDonald, as President of the Page Society, beginning January 1, 2008. The committee also recommended the slate of candidates for the Board of Trustees Class of 2010, which was approved by the membership. The following are renewing trustees:

The Annual Conference, which concluded today, has more than 150 people in attendance. With the theme of "Manage for Tomorrow: Corporate Communications in a Changing World," the conference brought together nationally and internationally recognized thought-leaders to examine the changes underway in the global business environment and the implications for corporate communications executives.
During the annual business meeting held this morning, President Roger Bolton reported on the growth of the organization in the past year and reviewed the key initiatives underway. The organization now has a record-high 360 members. Treasurer Nancy Hobor reported that the organization continues to have a strong financial position.
