In this new role, Arnold will provide editorial input for the Page Society's publications, including journals, newsletters, annual report, member communiqués and the web site. She will also manage media relations activities, and will support the executive director and volunteer leaders in the planning and execution of the Page Society's major meetings.

Arnold brings nearly 15 years of expertise in marketing, public relations, event planning, television production and project management. She will report directly to the executive director and will be responsible to the board of trustees and its volunteer leaders.

Prior to joining the Page Society, Arnold was Marketing Communications Manager for PSCU Financial Services, the nation's largest Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO). She also served as Public Relations Specialist for Danka Business Systems PLC, one of the largest independent providers of enterprise imaging systems and services. Arnold has also held employee relations, television production and marketing positions at MTV Networks, Showtime Networks, Penguin Publishing and John Wiley & Sons Publishers.

“Karen's extensive marketing and public relations background in a variety of industries makes her an ideal fit for this position, which requires broad knowledge and experience in writing, events planning and media relations activities,” said Paul Basista, Executive Director of Arthur W. Page Society. “Her expertise in these areas, coupled with her high-energy and enthusiastic attitude, will enable her to enhance the excellence of our communications activities and create greater awareness for the Page Society among leading public relations and corporate communications executives.”

Arnold holds a B.S. degree in Journalism from Northeastern University's School of Journalism in Boston.
