Since taking over in 2015, Chris has rebuilt the business, hired a new leadership team and transformed the fortunes of the company. 
Evernote is now financially successful and the brand enjoys recognition as a productivity powerhouse beyond its already sizeable 200M member base.

Prior to Evernote, Chris held a variety of Executive-level roles at Google, coaching multiple teams to success at Google [X], Google Canada, and within Google’s Business Organization.
As Managing Director of Google Canada, he oversaw all aspects of Google’s operations in Canada and served on the Americas’ Executive Management Group. 

Under his leadership, Google Canada more than doubled its business and team, and was awarded both the #1 Best Place to Work and the #1 most innovative brand in Canada.
O’Neill is a former member of the boards of directors of Tim Hortons (NYSE: THI),Shop.org, and the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). He is currently a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a Charter Member of the C100, and is a former member of the Canadian Council for Chief Executives (CCCE).
O’Neill graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A in Economics (with distinction) and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  

He lives in California with his wife and two children.
