Dawn Lyon is vice president of corporate affairs of Glassdoor, overseeing corporate communications, employer branding, government affairs, public policy, economics bureau, content marketing, investor relations and corporate social responsibility.

Dawn has more than two decades of experience leading global corporate communications and public affairs organizations as well as consulting growing technology companies. Dawn helped launch Glassdoor in 2008 and remained a senior consultant until she joined the company full-time in 2015. She is also founder and senior advisor of LyonSHARE Communications Group, a strategic communications consultancy she founded in 2004. She has extensive experience building and running communications departments and programs for major brands including Zillow, eBay, Expedia, Hotwire, Chevron, Cendant (now Travelport), CheapTickets, Yahoo! and more.

Dawn holds a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in political science from San Diego State University and an executive certificate from the Center for Public Policy and Management from the University of Washington. She is also a board member of T4A.org, a non-profit that facilitates dialogue between public officials and the technology community to identify and develop results-focused initiatives to serve the community.
