The Audacity of Authenticity

I find myself wondering if President Obama has read The Authentic Enterprise. Well, of course he hasn’t. But his actions certainly are consistent with the major recommendations of the Page Society’s white paper. That’s not totally surprising, in that success in politics often is built on the same principles as success in business. But it’s as if he’s following a road map.

At the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States, I was proud to stand with millions of Americans to usher in change. As an African-American, I celebrate President Obama’s ascension on a personal level. Communication Done Well

For those who doubt the power of effective communication, this week’s inauguration of the 44th President should remove those doubts. Among Barack Obama’s many attributes, his ability to communicate is perhaps his greatest strength.
Here is a man who defeated Hillary Clinton and John McCain. Obama had virtually zero experience compared to his two opponents. He had none of the credentials they brought to the election.
